Travis is a Research Analyst with the Urban Mobility team at WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities and helps coordinate DigitalTransport4Africa’s global partnership and open transport data community. He has worked as transportation policy researcher at the University of Minnesota, a planner for the Minnesota Department of Transportation, a civic hacker for Nepali tech NGO, Kathmandu Living Labs, and a repair guy for a massage chair company in Boulder, Colorado.
Travis has published papers and given presentations for the Transportation Research Board (TRB). He is a transportation and open data enthusiast with a Master’s degree in GIS from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Sociology/Anthropology from Carleton College.
