Diego is leading collaborative social innovation efforts in Latin America and has over 15 years of experience in the field of social innovation and facilitation in Mexico and the US. He is currently invested in building an open startup, the Collective of Disruptive Design and in prototyping a nomadic purpose-driven lifestyle. He was born and raised in Mexico City, worked for six years in the protection of human rights for Mexican migrants in the US. This led him to start up and fail two social businesses, one in the US and one in Mexico. After this he led a small and medium business-CSR initiative in Mexico. He has a Master’s in Social Development from the Panamerican University and studied International Relations at the University of Anahuac.
